LG unveils G3 phone



LG Electronics, a player in mobile communications, has introduced into the Nigerian market its G3 smartphone, the successor to the company’s LG G2.

LG G3 is a culmination of consumer research based on LG’s product development philosophy, Learning from You. In a statement on Thursday.

LG said the G3 was empowered with the best of what current technology has to offer, providing consumers with a user experience more ambitious than anything offered before by LG.


Above this, online store, Jumia, also announced that the LG- G3 smartphone was on its platform.

The General Manager, Mobile Communication division, LG Electronics West Africa operations, Mr. Steve Seungeui Lee, was quoted in the statement as saying that, “This is the best innovation in a fast-evolving smartphone market.

“It is creating harmony between advanced technology and a simplified user experience which is the result of our effort to convert that idea to a tangible product, and we are extremely pleased with the result.”

On the G3, the Managing Director, Jumia Nigeria, Jeremy Doutte, was also quoted as saying that, “The LG G3 is exclusive online to Jumia.com.ng and we intend to give customers the best of the new smartphone with free accessories to only our customers.

“We are also giving them a chance to win a free trip to London when they buy the latest LG smartphone on Jumia.”

However, LG said the technology had proved itself making sure it surpasses rival smartphone brands with the enormous quad HD display screen, which is one of the big selling points for the phone.
