A Nigerian firm says it has designed a website to give publicity to Small and Medium Enterprises in the country and boost their profitability.
Zebra Technologies Limited, owners of propertyfinder.com.ng and Propertyfinder magazine, said in a statement on Thursday that it had designed a product, www.askme.ng, to boost SMEs’ performance.
The firm explained that the product was designed to help in overcoming the challenges faced by SMEs in different regions of the country.
The company said its goal was to create long-term shareholder value by enhancing its position as a local search service for businesses and other general information.
The Chairman, Zebra Technologies, Mr. Austine Okonkwo, said the company’s philosophy focuses on the end-user experience through feedback, innovation, teamwork and integrity.
According to him, with the aid of practical case studies and real – life illustrations, askme.ng will help provide comprehensive update information on all the B2B and B2C products within the economy.
He pointed out that the portal was designed to make online presence and adverts very affordable to growing SMEs in Nigeria.
Also the Manager of Zebra Technologies, Mr. Chuka Ikeamaka, said that the portal was an avenue for SMEs to grow in Nigeria.
While acknowledging the online awareness level for businesses in the country, he maintained that the simplicity of the platform and its features offered a more credible means for businesses to harness the patronage of the millions of Internet users in Nigeria.
