Bacardi Breezer unveils Yemi Alade, others as brand ambassadors

Three promising Nigerian artists, Yemi Alade, Sheyi Shay and Sean Tizzle have been named brand ambassadors for the newly launched Bacardi Breezer alcoholic drinks.

Speaking at a media unveil of the new alcoholic beverage in Lagos at the weekend, the Managing Director, Consolidated Breweries, Mr Boudewijn Haarsma, explained that the decision to pick the trio as brand ambassadors was informed by the rising  profiles of the artists and the commitment of the brand to part of their success stories.

He noted, as brand ambassadors, the artistes would go a long way in making the brand to reach its target consumers.

Haarsma stated that the decision to partner with Bacardi was informed by the need to deliver quality alcoholic drinks to Nigerians.

“While we will be fully involved in the production with a sizable percentage of the product’s contents sourced locally, we would also be leveraging on Bacardi’s rich heritage in alcoholic beverage production to deliver a product that is of international standard. It is a coming together of two great brands,” he stated.

The Country Manager, Tradall S.A, member of the Bacardi –Martini Group, Femi Olajimbiti, noted that the newly-launched Bacardi Breezer was already being enjoyed by consumers, adding that the nation’s economy holds a huge prospect for the brand because of its huge population.

He explained that the new alcoholic offering, which is in a ready to drink 330ml bottle, comes in three flavours of Orange, Pineapple and Watermelon.

The unveiling of the brand is seen as the climax to some activities going on across Lagos for the past few weeks.
