The Chief Executive Officer, Anabel Group, Nicholas Okoye has called on youths in the country to take advantage of the numerous business opportunities to create wealth and reduce unemployment.

He said limited job opportunities were available in the public sector, noting that entrepreneurship remains the only lifeline for millions of jobless youths in the country.
Okoye stated this at the opening ceremony of the third edition of the Nigeria Leadership Summit organised by the Anabel Group in Lagos.
Okoye said: “The increasing number of jobless youths in the country has become a matter of concern, as there is the need for entrepreneurship that would gainfully engage youths in worthy ventures.”

Whilst enumerating several business opportunities in the country, he said: “Unemployment fuels terrorism and robbery tormenting the nation, youths should not to wait for the government to create jobs.”

In a recorded goodwill message at the opening ceremony of the summit, former Secretary of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku Anyaoku explained the consequences of unemployment, pointing out the need to tackle increasing numbers of kidnappers, armed robbers and fraudsters in the society.

He stressed the need for entrepreneurship among youths to save them from the frustration of joblessness.
Several industrialists and entrepreneurs attended the summit, and encouraged hundreds of participants to explore the unlimited opportunities offered by entrepreneurship.
