Teenage sales boy steals Master’s N1.8million in Abuja

A sales boy at Shafa Plaza, Area 1 Junction, Abuja,  Chidiebere Eche, 19  has been arrested and charged before a Gudu Upper Area Court in the FCT, for stealing his master’s N1.8 million.

According to the prosecutor, Insp. Steve Okwuagbor, the sales boy stole the N1.8 million from the sales belonging to his boss, Mr Augustine  Chukwujogu. on the 24th of September, without giving any satisfactory reasons for his action.

The offence contravened the provision of Section 289 of the Penal Code,  he said.

However, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Presiding Officer, Malam Umar Kagarko, admitted the accused to a  bail of N1.9 million with a surety in like sum and adjourned the case to November 10 for further hearing.
