NLI inaugurates DDS to boost Nigeria’s bilateral relationship




Considering the benefits derived from bilateral relationships with nations, the Nigeria Leadership   Initiative (NLI) will be inaugurating its Diplomatic Dialogue Series (DDS) in the country to boost Nigeria’s bilateral relationships with other countries.

This maiden   edition   of DiplomaticDialogue   Series (DDS) that takes place in September 10 in Lagos, will henceforth be a monthly breakfast event aimed at strengthening bilateral relations with countries and increase investment portfolios.

Chief Executive Officer, NLI, Yinka Oyinlola said, it   is   a   platform   for interaction with the Ambassadors of foreign representation in Nigeria and a forum for networking for the purpose of business relationships and catalytic investments.


“The DDS creates a sustainable forum for the leaders of corporate Nigeria, public service leaders, NLI Senior Fellows, Fellows and Associates, senior government officials, the academia, policy makers and the media to engage, interact and share ideas with Diplomatic Envoys”.

Ready to grace the occasion is Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria, His Excellency, A.R Ghanashyan, with other invited dignitaries comprising critical stakeholders in the corporate, government, civil society, academic, media and diplomatic communities in Nigeria.

According   to   Yinka   Oyinlola, “whatever   brings   people   closer   will   inherently bridge   divides,  foster   peace   and better   understanding   and   ultimately   strengthen   human interaction, growth and productivity”

In addition, Oyinlola remonstrated that the NLI’s DDS has   the   capacity   to   facilitate new   vistas   of   opportunities   for   trade   and   commerce; foster   better   bilateral   cooperation   and   understanding.
