The governors of Akwa Ibom, Delta and Kaduna states have been picked to address young Nigerian professionals in the United States on the way forward for the country.
Godswill Akpabio, Emmanuel Uduaghan and Mukhtar Yero are to address the Nigerian Young Professionals Forum (NYPF) at the summit slated for 27 September in New York, US.
A statement from Dr Nuhu Atta, the National Secretary of NYPF, in Abuja on Saturday said Prof. Joy Ogwu, Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, would also be a guest speaker
It said the theme of the summit was”Harnessing the Potentials of Young Nigerian Professionals toward Accelerated Development in Nigeria.”
The statement explained that the summit aimed to bring together selected young Nigerian professionals residing in the US to brainstorm on the way forward for their motherland.
It quoted the Chairman of NYPF, Mr Moses Siasia, as saying that the summit would be a strategic platform for young people to objectively network, using their experience and knowledge for growth and development.
